Henry Clive (1882 – 1960) was an Australian-born, American graphic artist and illustrator, known particularly for his magazine cover illustration work which ultimately propelled him into being an iconic force of the art deco Jazz Age.  Clive's pastels and oils graced the covers of many magazines across America and also created calendars and murals with large fantastic nudes at Hollywood restaurants and watering holes in the 1930's and 40's.  As an artist Clive was comfortable with both pastel and oils, his original works are extremely scarce and coveted by collectors.
