  • Print Description
Blue Nude, 1952 by Henri Matisse is a blue coloured lithograph art print reproduction originally made from gouache découpées (cut-outs).  Blue Nude is part of a collection of four cut-outs and depicts a female nude model in a seated position, legs intertwined with one arm stretched behind her neck, which represents Matisses Blue Nudes collection perfectly.  For Matisse the solid blue colour palette signified distance and volume.  Blue Nude is a captivating reproduction from one of the most influential artists in modern history, a beautiful addition to an array of interior decor styles and influences.
